LOCAL EVENTS & INITIATIVES

We have identified and created more relevant ways to better support our local community, from the 1st January 2023 we supported the following local events & club initiatives.

Sutherland Shire Council - Australia Day

Headline Acts

Cronulla Jazz & Blues Festival

War Animal Day

ANZAC Day, Vietnam Veterans Day & Remembrance Day.

In August 2022, Cronulla RSL became the first club in NSW to install a memorial plaque dedicated to Animals who have served our nation in times of war and peace. The club was presented with a life membership award, by the Australian War Memorial Organisation (AWAMO).

The Club proudly supports our local Veteran Military War Dog, Manic, by assisting his family with the costs associated with food and veterinary care expenses

The club’s support contributed significantly to the AWAMO’s efforts to provide support to animals displaced by the Ukrainian-Russian Conflict.

During ANZAC Day 2023 Fundraising, the club raised $7,000 for AWAMO & Manic.
