Support Aussie Veterans with ZERO600 Challenge!

We lose 6 Aussie Veterans a month to suicide, something that none of us find acceptable and have decided to 'lose some sleep over'!

Help Cronulla RSL get behind Aussie Veterans, by signing up for the Invictus ZERO600 Challenge!

Taking place over SIX days from the 4th to the 9th June 2023, the format is simple. Get Up and Out the Door exercising with your team, your tribe, your best mate or even (hu)man’s best friend by ZERO600 (6am) for 6 days in a row. Whether you are choosing to test yourself with a big physical challenge, treat yourself to a gentle walk or zen out with a soul-enriching sun salutation – it’s your call.

It’s a great way to get sporty with your family and friends, with the military approach of rising early, and support Aussie Veterans.

Join our team, and get behind our Aussie Veterans.

— Invictus Australia’s mission

WHY SUPPORT INVICTUS?

"As many as 6,000 Australian servicemen and women transition out of the military each year, many with injury or illness, sustained during service"
Studies have shown an estimated 3 in 4 recently transitioned veterans have experienced a mental health condition at some stage in their lifetime, and suicide rates are 3x higher for involuntary discharge from service compared with voluntary discharge for ex-serving males. Your support will save lives, as sport provides camaraderie, connection and mateship.
By fundraising and donating generously, you will give veterans and their families an opportunity to get active and connect with their communities through sport both at a grassroots level or internationally.

Whilst the Invictus Games illuminates the healing power of sport, we support all veterans and their families, even when the bright lights of the Games have dimmed.
Allowing us to coordinate and manage the veteran contingent of major international events such as the Invictus Games with the Australian Defence Force, integrate veterans into community sporting clubs and programs nationally and build connections between existing sport and veteran focused networks.
Please give generously to support our veteran community’s ongoing recovery, which will save lives.
